Subjective Permanency
An art exhibit by Tessa McSorley
Tessa
McSorley is a Printmaking major in the School of Art and Art History at
UF. "Subjective Permanency" features pieces that utilize imagery
and text from antique journals and scrapbooks kept by women. By piecing
together the memories of these women, she constructs histories for her
subjects that are both real and fabricated. To view more of the artist's
work, please visit her website at http://plaza.ufl.edu/tm1224/art/.
Tessa's prints, handmade books, and mixed media pieces were on display
at the Center for Women's Studies and Gender Research, 3324 Turlington
Hall, from January 6 through April 30, 2004.
