General Concentration in Women's Studies WorksheetWomen's Studies is flexible and broad; students
must therefore be pro-active in planning their coursework. You
can link to worksheets that will help you plan and monitor your
coursework from the descriptions of the General, Sexualities, and
Development tracks on the main Bachelor
of Arts Information page. Minors in Women's Studies and Theories and Politics of
Sexualities will find similar worksheets on the pages describig the
minors. If you wish to see the Undergraduate Advisor or an
advisor at the AAC to discuss your progress to degree, complete the
appropriate worksheet so that you know what you have taken and what you
still need to take. The WST Undergraduate Advisor and the WST Office Manager can give you general information about the major/minor and enroll you in departmentally controlled classes' the UGC handles petitions, course substitutions, and Internship/Independent Study applications. You will need to see the AAC regarding holds on your account, late adds/withdrawals, and anything regarding Gen Ed or non-WST degree requirements. If you wait until "peak time," you might not be able to meet with a department advisor due to high demand. "Peak time" is during advance registration, registration, drop/add, and orientation. Please complete this worksheet before seeing an advisor! To get a listing of all Women's Studies courses you have taken, their course number, credits, and grade, go to ISIS (http://www.isis.ufl.edu).
